IX International Exhibition of Fancy and Creative work "Masters` Golden Hands"
On April 11-13, 2014 “Fashion Magazine” Editorial Board organized the 9 th International Show of Fancy and Creative Work “Masters` Golden Hands” the 7 th International contest “Fairy Beads”, held in the International Exhibition Centre, Kiev.
About 5500 visitors came to see the Shows.
50 famous Ukrainian, European and American artists, designers, beading masters, embroidery masters, batik masters, felting masters and other artists of hobby, art and craft presented their works at the “Masters` Golden Hands”.
10 companies, craft and creativity shops, more than 20 craft, hobby magazines took part in the Exhibition.
During the Exhibition was the final part of “Fairy Beads” the 7 th International contest.
Designers from Ireland, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic took part in the contest.
They were presented as a separate exposition.
For the first time there were presented works of two children`s beading contests.
During the Show was the final part of the first All-Ukrainian contest of children`s creativity “Fairy Beads. Beading and Embroidery”. 45 finalists with 80 works from 11 Ukrainian cities took part in it.
There was the separate exposition of the winners of the 9 th city contest “Beading Shine” of Kiev Palace of Children and Youth.
Project “Thimble Spring” was presented as the separate exposition, exclusive thimbles and sewing supplies of XVIII-XXI century from the collection of Nadezhda Avdienko (Kiev).
Olga Melnyk, the consultant of “Fairy Moment” company held a presentation of new products and materials for handmade products, also held workshop about making pictures of crystals and rhinestones of Bohemian glass.
There was presented new collection of talented Ukrainian designer Konstantin Miro " Traveling back in time with "fashion doll ", presented by Women`s Club " MEM".
Masters and designers presented their creativity and talents during the project "Minute of Fame" on the central podium. Among them show of miniature hats "Hummingbird" from Marina Akulinicheva, show of felting bags “Mental motives" from Nataliya Grishaeva, felted clothes and hand-painted silk “Flowers in the City” from Anna Bratasyuk, beading jewelleries collection from Elena Marchuk, collection of wine corks clothes and accessories from Sergey Tkachuk, presentation and modeling of flowers from polymer clay from Elena Rydvan.
Tatiana Linkina held presentation of pictures of Nataliya Volosiuk and Zoya Seliuk from creative union “Bit of everything”.
Ethno collection of designer clothes for children “Hello spring. Winter good buy” (Kiev Palace of children and youth under the leadership of designer Victoriya Gorlova) and the author`s collection of children`s handmade dresses (designer Galyna Sovenko, “Margo Magnifique” from “Hand wonders” magazine) were presented on the central catwalk show.
Everybody could also see fashion show collection of casual and evening jewelleries of American and Ukrainian designers as Huib Petersen, Nataliya Savelieva, Elena Marchuk.
There were held unique workshops in beading, ankars, felting, polymer clay, making of motanka doll of USA and Ukrainian designers: Huib Petersen, Nataliya Savelieva, Irina Slobodianik, Elena Rydvan, Vladyslava Andreeva, Valentyna Kostetskaya.
