X International Exhibition of Fancy and Creative work "Masters` Golden Hands"

International project "Wreath of Friendship."

On October 17-19, 2014 “Fashion Magazine” Editorial Board organized the 10th International Show of Fancy and Creative Work “Masters` Golden Hands”, the 5 th International contest “Fairy Beads” and 1 st International Felt festival held in the International Exhibition Centre, Kiev.

About 10000 visitors came to see the Shows.

75 famous artists, designers, beading masters, embroidery masters, batik masters, felting masters and other artists of hobby, art and craft from Ukraine, Belgium, Germany, Georgia, France, Russia presented their works at the “Masters` Golden Hands”. 30 companies, craft and creativity shops, more than 20 craft, hobby magazines took part in the Exhibition.

During the Exhibition was the final part of “Beaded Exclusive” the 5 th International contest.

Designers from Germany, Belgium, Russia, Ukraine took part in the contest.

Designers presented original beading works, crystals and polymer clay works, textiles combined with seed beads works.

They were presented as a separate exposition.

During the Show was held the final part of the ribbon embroidery contest "Ribbon for good luck",organized by the Internet project "Sovushka". There was participated works made by embroidery ribbon kits of TM "Sovushka", curator Tatiana Popova.

Also was held the final part of the contest “Beading drawings”, organized by gallery-shop of Alexandra Tokareva.

Visitors can vote for their favourite work. And on October 19 took count of election results, and the winners were announced.

For the first time was held 1 st International Felt Festival “Fairy Felt”. 15 designers, masters and artists were attended at the Festival. On October 18-19 was held catwalk shows and collections of author felt clothes, shoes and accessories of Nataliya Grishaeva, Anna Bratasuk, Nadezhda Vasilieva, Elena Demertash, Marina Klimchuk, Valentyna Martynuk, Svetlana Lomonosova, Tatiana Srakhova. Marina Klimchuk was awarded by “Felt-kreativ” award.

Also there was separate project "Autumn mood" – exclusive thimbles and sewing supplies of XVIII-XXI century of Nadezhda Avdienko collection (Kiev).

During the Exhibition was a presentation of the International project "Wreath of Friendship." 33 designers from 11 countries took part at the project. The project participants have made beaded flowers and send to Anna Bystrik, curator of the project and she gather them in a wreath. The aim of the project is to strengthen the friendship between the peoples, to commemorate the victims of the Ukrainian conflict and victims of the disaster the Boeing 777.

Anna Kolestik, leading designer of TM “Fairy Moment” held the presentation of new products and materials for craftwork, also held picture of crystals, rhinestones and Bohemian glass class.

Every day masters and designers presented their creativity and talent at the show of masters “Minute of Fame” on the central podium.

The visitors were offered show of authors vyshyvanka (the Ukrainian traditional clothing which contains elements of Ukrainian ethnic embroidery.) of Yaroslava Shcherban, collection of knitted and crochet clothes of Ludmila Reva, designer`s collection of modern clothes of Nadezhda Bashchak and collection of clothes, accessories, decorated with unique author bilateral slotted embroidery of Nataliya Uditska.

Also on the central podium was held catwalk show of author collection of children`s handmade dressed of Galina Sovenko “Margo Magnifique” from the magazine “Handmade wonders”.

Everybody could also see fashion show collection of European and Ukrainian designers – Inga Marita, Rita Vellemans, Nataliya Savelieva.

The visitors could also visit different beading, tatting, felting, decoupage, doll, bone and pearl carving, candles making classes. Such teacher as Inga Marita, Nataliya Savelieva, Irina Slobodianik, Oksana Moroz, Lesia Kuleshova, Olga Shabalina from Germany and Ukraine held the classes.

Events of this kind bring joy, inspiration, desire for creation and making beauty.
